Sometimes, enough is enough.
But realizing this can sometimes come too late, when the point of return is no longer in sight. The feelings of happiness and joy are replaced with sadness, loss, and anxiety. No more are the laughs of pure joy; they are hiding the truth behind their mysterious ways. There is no turning back now because all hope is lost. The loneliness that encompasses the journey cannot be overlooked any longer. The loving words are heard, but they are not taken as so. Low blows to the heart are like daggers into the soul; they cannot be removed. The darkness becomes day and all that surrounds it, leaving nothing to chance. The voice that beckons is no longer followed. What can be done now?
